Tommy Hilfiger has tapped Rafael Nadal to serves as a global brand ambassador for the fashion house. Beginning in Fall 2015, the tennis champ will front the Tommy Hilfilger Underwear and Tommy Hilfiger Tailored Collection campaigns. This is not Nadal’s first foray into the modeling game. He previously served as the face of Emporio Armani Underwear and Jeans.

Russell Westbrook has some new competition in the underwear design game. The Oklahoma City Thunder guard has designed and modeled skivvy styles for the Kings & Jaxs brand. In similar fashion, his teammate, Kevin Durant, has joined forces with Neff to develop an underwear collection.
“Before becoming friends with Kevin, I was a huge fan of him on and off the court,” Shaun Neff said. ”I am very excited to partner with him to create a great product that is functional and stylish that kids will want to put on every morning when they wake up.”
The Neff brand is best known for its headwear fashions for the snowboarding, skating, surfing markets. The company has tapped Durant to help create an exclusive underwear collection, with styles to be worn on and off-the-court.

Cristiano Ronaldo is well-versed in the fashion world and in the modeling world. The soccer star and former Emporio Armani Underwear model has merged those interests to design a signature collection of underwear. Yesterday, the footballer officially launched his CR7 Underwear line in Madrid. The collection is a collaborative effort with JBS Textile Group and NY-based fashion designer, Richard Chai. In addition to debuting the new products, he also unveiled the campaign shots for the brand.

The CR7 line includes a range of underwear and sock styles. The collection consists of four different lines: luxury, fashion, basic and boys. David Beckham will soon have some competition on the underwear design front. Fellow footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo, is set to launch a line of underwear and socks together with New York-based fashion designer, Richard Chai. Off-the-pitch, the athletes have often expressed interest in fashion and design, and both have had experience modeling in their skivvies on behalf of Emporio Armani Underwear. Beckham has had great success with his David Beckham Bodywear collection for H&M and Ronaldo hopes to follow suit with a line of his own.
“Everything from the making of the various styles, the colors and the fabric has been taken into consideration by the football player and designer. All designs are produced in high quality by Danish JBS Textile Group.”

A quarterfinals exit kept Serena Williams from winning the first Grand Slam of the tennis season, but she did score a new endorsement gig down under. The tennis star signed on as an ambassador for Australian underwear brand, Berlei. She shot a promotional campaign for the company while in Melbourne.
Williams has long been a fan of Berlei’s sports bras and credits her mother with introducing her to the company. She told The Telegraph:
“Every time I’ve played a match in the last eight years it’s always been in a Berlei. Every time I’d come to Australia I’d buy new ones and wear them for years, and I’d even send them to Nike and they’d dye them so they matched my outfits,” the 14DD tennis star said. “But now I have a hook-up.”
