Hublot has designed special-edition timepieces for sports teams including the Miami Heat and the Dallas Cowboys. Now the Swiss watchmaker has launched a watch style for the Los Angeles Lakers, dubbed the King Power “Los Angeles Lakers.” Hublot became the Official Timekeeper of the Lakers in January 2013. Despite having created designs for Kobe Bryant, who serves as a brand ambassador, this marks the first signature watch for the team.
The accessory features details in the Laker’s purple and gold hues. The team described the timepiece:

Movado is launching a collection of special-edition watches to celebrate Derek Jeter’s storied MLB career, and to honor his leadership on and off-the-field. The New York Yankees shortstop has been a longtime ambassador for the brand, and has collaborated with Movado on past collections. Among the Jeter-inspired timepieces was the “Bold” watch, created to commemorate his 3,000th hit.
“Teaming up with Movado to create this new collection of watches has been a real honor,” Derek Jeter said. “Movado has been a special partner of mine for over eight years and I am privileged to have had the opportunity to collaborate with such a world-class organization.”

LeBron James was first tapped as an Audemars Piguet brand ambassador in 2011. The latest joint venture from the Miami Heat forward and the luxury watchmaker is a new, limited-edition timepiece. Called the “Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph Lebron James,” the accessory boasts an 18-karat pink gold case, a grey patterned dial and a crocodile strap. LeBron’s signature is printed in blue on the sapphire crystal, titanium bezel. Only 600 of the watches were made, with a $51,500 price tag.
James, who is an avid watch collector, was heavily involved in the design process. When describing the concept behind his new timepiece, he told WWD:
