Ahead of Super Bowl XLIX, the NFL rolled out the red carpet for the NFL Honors show. It provided an opportunity for the league’s fashion-conscious stars to shed their gridiron garb and show off their style and swagger. The large frames of NFL athletes didn’t hinder their fashion game, as players were styled in plaid patterns, colorful jackets, and classic tuxedos. The NFL Style Lounge will touch down in Phoenix, in honor of Super Bowl XLIX. Throughout the season, the league has celebrated style. The NFL Fan Style Tour visited stadiums and other locations around the country, showcasing the newest crop of team-themed fashions.
The 30,000 square foot Super Bowl XLIX shop, presented by VISA, will feature dedicated Super Bowl XLIX merchandise, as well as head-to-head styles. A purple and orange colorway is prominently featured on the designs, and was inspired by the Phoenix sunsets.
The NFL Style Lounge opens on Saturday, January 24th, and is located at Phoenix Convention Center’s North Building.

Nike has unveiled the latest NFL Super Bowl XLIX Collection, with a range of special styles in celebration of the game. Taking a cue from the game’s location, the collection “mirrors the electric atmosphere of the championship game, drawing inspiration from the shifting expression of the Arizona sky.”
When the two conference champions take the field on February 1, both teams will wear the NFL Nike Elite 51 Uniform, as well as the Nike Vapor Jet Knit Glove – Super Bowl Edition, and the Nike Vapor Untouchable cleat in their team color.

Julian Edelman was quick to capitalize on the New England Patriots win over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC divisional round. In particular, the game’s most memorable play. The Patriots wide receiver and former college quarterback at Kent State, threw a touchdown pass to Danny Amendola, the first pass in his NFL career. As Edelman explained:
“We’ve had it in for 10 weeks, and the coaches finally got to call it,” Edelman said. “I had to loosen up the arm a little bit.”
Now he has translated “The Pass” into a fashion statement. Edelman’s web store already features a range of t-shirt styles, including “JE11” and “Burgertyme” themed designs. He has added “The Pass” tees to the collection. The gear is available on Edelman’s personal website and retails for $29.99.

Colin Kaepernick has joined with New Era Caps to unveil a specialty collection of headwear, dubbed the San Francisco 49ers “Colin Kaepernick” NFL Inspired Collection. The line features three 9FIFTY Adjustable Cap styles. The hats were designed with floral, leather and snakeskin embellishments, for looks that appear both high-end and casual. The Dallas Cowboys will keep time with Hublot, as the NFL squad and luxury Swiss watchmaker have teamed up in time for the new football season.
