Russell Westbrook is adding to his long list of off-court style credentials with a new role in the fashion world. True Religion, has tapped the Oklahoma City Thunder guard as the creative director the company’s Spring ’15 apparel campaign. He will also serve as the face of the campaign, modeling the brand’s latest denim designs.
This year, the 2015 NBA All-Star Weekend festivities will coincide with Mercedes-Benz Fashion in New York. Westbrook’s new gig will put him at the center of this overlap. According to Style.com:
In between playing in the NBA All-Star game at Barclays Center on February 15 (the same time as the Opening Ceremony show), Westbrook will pop by the True Religion store (conveniently located across the street from Barclays) on February 14 and star in a TV spot that will air during broadcasts of All-Star events and at Madison Square Garden.
