David Beckham’s role with H&M has evolved each season. He’s previously developed bodywear and swim wear for the retailer. The latest collaboration, dubbed “Modern Essentials selected by David Beckham,” will feature a curated selection of styles.
“My relationship with H&M continues to grow. Something I’m really excited about is my selection of items. Things I wear day-to-day, shirts, t-shirts, jeans, bomber jackets. It’s literally stuff I wear day in and day out,” Beckham said.
“Modern Essentials selected by David Beckham” will include his favorite H&M menswear pieces. Among the featured items will be a linen pilot jacket, a white chalk-washed denim jacket, a car coat, a linen blazer, a city-slicker polo shirt, and the perfect white poplin shirt. The line will be released to coincide with Beckham’s new Bodywear range. Both collections will launch worldwide in stores and online on March 5, 2015.

Earlier this year, H&M entered the tennis design game, when the Swedish retailer tapped Tomas Berdych as a brand ambassador. As part of the long-term partnership, Berdych would wear H&M apparel both on and off-the-court, and work closely with the company to co-design its first collection of tennis apparel.
The Czech player has been sporting H&M branded gear throughout the tennis season, including the 2013 U.S. Open. Now the company has launched its exclusive Tomas Berdych Collection of tennis gear, available online and in select stores. The range consists of tees, shorts, socks, sweatbands and caps. Items boast an affordable price tag, ranging from $5.95 for sweatbands to $34.95 for tennis shorts.
