Alyssa Milano first launched her Touch line in 2007, after noticing the lack of team-themed apparel options to suit the needs of female fans. The actress has had success with her stylish sports fashion range, which includes shirts, tanks, sweaters, jackets, pant, hats and accessories for NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and NCAA teams. Now she has expanded the Touch offerings to include a NASCAR-themed collection.

The NBA has announced a new collaboration with Sanrio and apparel company, Topline Inc., to launch a collection of female fan gear featuring Hello Kitty. Earlier this season, the league partnered with Sportiqe and the Grateful Dead to create a capsule collection of tees. Styles merged team colors and logos with the famous “Dancing Bear” and the band’s skull logo. In similar fashion, the new range of Hello Kitty-themed shirts were designed in team hues, including fun phrases and images of the iconic pop character.
The assortment of fashion tees are offered in womens’ and girls’ sizes and represent more than ten squads, including NBA Finals participants the San Antonio Spurs and the Miami Heat. The t-shirts will be available at NBA team shops and online at NBAStore.com, Lids, and Fanatics.

For the past five years, New Era, the official on-field cap of Major League Baseball, has created special headwear as part of its “Stars & Stripes” collection. The patriotic fashions debut on Memorial Day and on the Fourth of July, and support the Welcome Back Veterans Fund. Previous designs have centered around a red/white/blue colorway, with a stars and stripes motif included within outlined team logos. Last season’s caps instead remained in each team’s official color, but a digital camouflage appliqué filled the MLB logo on the front of the cap. The NBA has teamed up with fashion retailer, Zara, to create a global collection of boys t-shirts across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. The gear, available for boys ages 3-12, will feature designs for the Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat. This marks the first time the company is partnering with a North American sports league.
