Lane Bryant has launched an exclusive NFL Capsule Collection, in time for the upcoming season. With its new team offerings, the plus size fashion retailer joins the NFL’s ever-evolving female fan apparel market.
“Lane Bryant is thrilled to partner with the NFL,” said Linda Heasley, President and CEO of Lane Bryant. “The exclusive NFL Capsule Collection will allow our customers who are football fans to purchase stylish team apparel fit for the sidelines and beyond.”
The NFL Capsule Collection includes a range of scoop neck shirts, v-neck shirts, hoodies, and sleepwear. Items are designed in team colors and decorated with logos and football-inspired phrases such as “Let’s Huddle,” or “Put Me On Your Fantasy Team.” Prices range from $39.95 – $49.95.

Luxury lifestyle brand, Peace Love World, has teamed up with the NBA to create a collection of women’s apparel dubbed “I am game.” The license is Peace Love World’s latest step in making fashion-forward team gear for female fans. Last year, the company launched an exclusive collection of Miami Heat gear, which sold out in less than 10 minutes. Peace Love World also has deal with the Dallas Cowboys.
The brand has now expanded its basketball-themed designs to include additional teams. With Spring Training underway, Tommy Bahama has released its latest MLB-themed collection of apparel. This marks the fifth year of the partnership between the company and Major League Baseball Properties. As part of the latest collaboration, Tommy Bahama has designed 2014 MLB Spring Training shirts for both the Cactus League and the Grapefruit League. The line consists of four featured styles, including two classic camp shirts and two cotton, long-sleeve tees.
The colorful camp shirts are decorated with embroidered artwork on the back. The shirts feature a relaxed baseball player in aloha print board shorts and flip flops, with a handful of bats over his shoulder. The sky blue Cactus League shirt has the player surrounded by Saguaro cactus, with the Arizona rock formations incorporated into the Tommy Bahama logo. Ugly Christmas sweater styles have infiltrated the sports fashion game. Team USA’s Opening Ceremony cardigans from Ralph Lauren put the trend on full display, during the Sochi Opening Ceremony. Forever Collectibles, manufacturer of officially licensed sports and novelty products, has now followed suit. The company, an official NFL licensee, created an “NFL Ugly Sweaters” collection of fan gear, available at Clark Toys.
Fashions for all 32 NFL teams are offered, including two distinct sweater styles. The apparel was designed to feature the colors of each squad, and sweaters are decorated with team names and logos, as well as Christmas tree, snowflake, and argyle motifs.

The range, presented by New York-based sport and culture brand, No Mas, includes a pullover hoody, crewneck with cut-off sleeves, sweat-shorts with pockets, as well as a raglan sleeve t-shirt and tank.
