CLUB MONACO TAPS DEANDRE HOPKINS TO FRONT BENNETT CHINOS CAMPAIGN

In recent months, Express and Banana Republic have tapped pro athletes to front their new Spring campaigns. Chicago Cubs third baseman, Kris Bryant, followed in Steph Curry’s footsteps as the latest Express men’s ambassador. Banana Republic chose Cleveland Cavaliers forward, Kevin Love, as the brand’s inaugural style ambassador. Now Houston Texans wide receiver, DeAndre Hopkins, fronts Club Monaco’s new Bennett Chinos campaign.

“On any given day, you’d probably find me wearing them rolled at the ankles with a floral print shirt and clean sneakers,” said Hopkins.

The Bennett chino was designed a modified cut, to feature a more comfortable, roomier fit through the thigh. The pants retail for $89.50. To shop the Bennett Chino collection, visit here.

LEVI’S LAUNCHES MLB COLLECTION OF APPAREL

Following the success of its NFL apparel collections, LEVI’s has shifted its sports focus to baseball, with a new line of MLB gear. In time for the start of the 2016 season, the retailer has revealed the “coastal rivalries collection,” with exclusive designs for four teams including: New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, and San Francisco Giants.

“From crafting uniforms to dressing fans for game day, Levi’s has been involved in the game of baseball for more than 100 years,” Levi’s® Brand President James Curleigh said. “We’re excited to continue that tradition with the Levi’s® MLB Collection. WNBA UNVEILS NEW UNIFORMS FOR 20TH SEASON

In celebration of its 20th season, the WNBA has revealed a new crop of team uniforms for the 2016 season. Among the updates, all 12 WNBA teams will wear gear with a special logo on the back neckline of their jerseys, to pay tribute to the 20th season.To honor the three squads that competed in the league’s 1997 inaugural season, team-specific 20th season patches will be featured on the front left chest of the New York Liberty’s, Phoenix Mercury’s and Sparks’ jerseys during the 2016 season.

The WNBA also announced earlier this month that branding for marquee partner Verizon will appear on the front of 10 team jerseys. As the WNBA explained:

RAFAEL NADAL AND TOMMY HILFIGER LAUNCH TH FLEX SUIT COLLECTION

Following his gig as an underwear and fragrance model for Tommy Hilfiger, Rafael Nadal has teamed up with the fashion house to launch an exclusive collection of suits. As an extension of the Tommy Hilfiger Tailored Collection, the brand unveiled the THFLEX Rafael Nadal Capsule Collection, inspired by the tennis champ.
 

The range includes single-breasted and double-breasted suits, as well as six limited-edition shirts. The line is meant to merge Tommy Hilfiger’s tailored silhouettes with functionality, engineered to allow movement. As the brand explains: “Our TH Flex suiting offers great style in an innovative crease-resistant fabric that flexes to fit just right.”

EXPRESS TAPS KRIS BRYANT AS ITS NEW MEN’S AMBASSADOR

As part of last year’s NBA All-Star festivities, players competed in the first “NBA All-Star All-Style” fashion show, with J.R. Smith nabbing top honors. While there was no formal catwalk this time around, the weekend still served a runway for the league’s top stars to showcase their personal style. SUPER BOWL 50 OFF-FIELD FASHION HIGHLIGHTS

In addition to their skills on the gridiron, this year’s Super Bowl 50 teams have proven to be among the league’s best-dressed squads this season. All year long, the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers showcased players’ wardrobes for road trips, pre-game arrivals, and post-game press conferences. Footballers from both teams enlisted the help of stylists, to carefully curate their apparel and accessories prior to each game. For Super Bowl 50, players showcased their team pride through their style selections, and chose pieces that paid homage to the host city of San Francisco and the golden anniversary of the big game.

The quarterback style showdown was a battle between two men with distinctly difference sartorial preferences. Cam Newton continued to keep it flashy, wearing a printed black and silver jacket with embellished footwear. ATHLETES CELEBRATE NEW YORK FASHION WEEK: MEN’S

For the second installment of New York Fashion Week: Men’s, the CFDA tapped New York Jets wide receiver, Eric Decker, New York Giants wide receiver, Victor Cruz, and New York Mets pitcher, Matt Harvey, among its five ambassadors. The athletes were lauded for their interest in fashion and sartorial skills outside the game. All three ambassadors made a variety of appearances, and together the were on-hand at the Tommy Hilfiger presentation.

NHL ALL-STAR RED CARPET FASHION FROM P.K. SUBBAN AND BRENT BURNS

Among the festivities for NHL All-Star weekend was the red carpet show, allowing the game’s top players to demonstrate their sartorial skills. The suiting styles of P.K. Subban and Brent Burns have often served as a fashion focal point. This time around, both players again snagged much of the attention.

Subban hit the red carpet dressed in a plaid jacket with black shawl collar, a crisp white shirt, black trousers, and a black tie. The design came from Sartorialto. The Canadian fashion house has created many of Subban’s looks outside the game. As For The Win reports:
