Vineyard Vines has partnered with Jason Dufner, to serve as the PGA Tour golfer’s official apparel provider. The company is known for its preppy aesthetic, offering an array of apparel and accessory designs for men and women. Dufner’s new fairway fashions will include the brand’s signature pink whale logo. The Vineyard Vines website explains:

Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi are footballers known for their sartorial skill set, in addition to their skills on the pitch. While Ronaldo scored top honors at the 2014 FIFA Ballon d’Or ceremony, both athletes shined in the suiting game.
Ronaldo was dressed in a suit and bow tie from Portuguese brand, Sacoor Brothers, paired with a shirt and shoes from his signature CR7 collection. He polished off his look with a Tag Heuer watch.

Julian Edelman was quick to capitalize on the New England Patriots win over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC divisional round. In particular, the game’s most memorable play. The Patriots wide receiver and former college quarterback at Kent State, threw a touchdown pass to Danny Amendola, the first pass in his NFL career. As Edelman explained:
“We’ve had it in for 10 weeks, and the coaches finally got to call it,” Edelman said. “I had to loosen up the arm a little bit.”
Now he has translated “The Pass” into a fashion statement. Edelman’s web store already features a range of t-shirt styles, including “JE11” and “Burgertyme” themed designs. He has added “The Pass” tees to the collection. The gear is available on Edelman’s personal website and retails for $29.99.

The NHL has unveiled fresh new jersey designs from Reebok, for the 2015 All-Star Game. The black home jerseys and white away jerseys each feature pops of neon green trim. The bold color choice, dubbed “elite green,” is new to the NHL fashion game.
This was a fresher spin and a color that is unique,” lead NHL Reebok designer Dominic Fillion said. “No other team owns this color so that was unique and it complemented very well the black and white while bringing a great accent with high visibility. We wanted something energetic and bright enough that it would stand out and grab your attention.
“We wanted something that fans hadn’t seen on an NHL uniform before.”

With NBA All-Star Weekend tipping off in New York City, style will be at the forefront of the festivities. This year’s All-Star uniforms have a high-fashion vibe, and Bloomingdales has now teamed up with the league. During Super Bowl XLVIII in the New York/New Jersey area, the retailer partnered with the NFL and members of the CFDA on a collection of couture helmets. The company has shifted its fashion focus to the NBA this year, in celebration of the All-Star Game.
As WWD explained, the All-Star initiatives for Bloomingdales will include a series of 16 pop-up shops, set to feature fashions from brands like Mitchell & Ness, Junk Food, Sportiqe, Mark McNairy, and Stance Socks. In addition to shops at the retailer’s 59th Street and Soho locations in Manhattan, there will also be stores in Florida, California, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.

Steph Curry joins the roster of NBA athletes who serve as the face of a fashion company. EXPRESS has signed the Golden State Warriors guard as a brand ambassador. Beginning in March 2015, Curry will appear in campaigns for the retailer.

Tommy Hilfiger has tapped Rafael Nadal to serves as a global brand ambassador for the fashion house. Beginning in Fall 2015, the tennis champ will front the Tommy Hilfilger Underwear and Tommy Hilfiger Tailored Collection campaigns. This is not Nadal’s first foray into the modeling game. He previously served as the face of Emporio Armani Underwear and Jeans.

Colin Kaepernick has joined with New Era Caps to unveil a specialty collection of headwear, dubbed the San Francisco 49ers “Colin Kaepernick” NFL Inspired Collection. The line features three 9FIFTY Adjustable Cap styles. The hats were designed with floral, leather and snakeskin embellishments, for looks that appear both high-end and casual. Prices range from $31.99 to $37.99.

GQ France tapped Jo-Wilfried Tsonga to appear in the magazine’s January issue. The #12 ranked tennis star is featured in a 10-page fashion editorial, where he models Winter coats and jackets. He donned ten different styles, ranging from classic, elegant coats to edgier, patterned picks.
