The Auburn Tigers and Oregon Ducks will meet on January 10th in the BCS title game. In preparation for the big event, both teams have added a little flair to their on-field fashions. Oregon, a team notorious for their flashy football attire, released special BCS title game uniforms last month. And the result was disappointing to many fans. Aside from the blinding neon socks, the team’s iconic yellow and green hues were missing from the all-white unis.

The Oregon letdown has allowed Auburn to take the lead in the best-dressed battle. Though their uniforms won’t change (the team will wear their regular home uniforms) their footwear and gloves will help the Tigers rack up some style points. Earlier this month A Glam Slam showed you the Under Armour shoes that Auburn QB Cam Newton wore during the SEC championship game, a preview of the footwear fans … Read More »

What’s a new college football season without new uniforms? Many schools will hit the field with familiar fashions while others have updated their look. This morning Nike unveiled the Pro Combat Uniforms for the 2010-2011 season. The uniquely designed uniforms will be worn by ten of the top college football programs for at least one game this year.

Dubbed the “Nike Pro Combat System of Dress,” the unis are engineered to provide superior protection and durability, while utilizing advanced fabrics and tooling that reduce weight. In addition to these performance benefits, this year Nike also worked closely with each university to bring relevant elements of the school’s heritage into the overall design. Who says brackets are only meant for games? has completed their annual contest to determine the “best-dressed coach in America.” The 65-slot bracket seeded coaches and divided them by region, to determine the NCAA basketball head coach and assistant coachwith the greatest sense of style.

For the third time, Drexel’s Bruiser Flint has been voted college basketball’s best-dressed head coach. Though he was the number 2 seed in his region, Flint defeated his opponents in the “Sensational 16,” “Elegant 8,” and “Fashionable Four” before edging out Campbell’s Robbie Laing in the finals. And while there’s no doubt that Flint is a man of style when he hits the court, fans are still questioning how Villanova’s Jay Wright and his Gucci suits were ousted in the round of 16. But then again, what’s a bracket without a few upsets?

So what make Flint the … Read More »

The collection offered those die-hard fans another way to showcase their team support.

And now, the hottest shoe from 1985 is back. Just like old times, Nike has recently released the Nike Dunk “College … Read More »
