RONDA ROUSEY FRONTS BUFFALO JEANS HOPE DENIM CAMPAIGN
Ronda Rousey first appeared in a Buffalo Jeans campaign in 2014. For the Fall 2016 season, the UFC champ and brand ambassador returns, to front the company’s new “Hope” denim campaign. Rousey is casually clad in a white tee in jeans in the updated shots.
The “Hope” silhouette features a no-gap waistline, with a generous fit in the thigh. The collection consists of 12 different styles, in blue, black and burgundy hues, with a range of cuts including skinny jean, straight-fit and boot cut options. The denim is offered in sizes 24 to 34, with prices ranging rom $59.00 – $89.00.
Rousey spoke with Vogue magazine, sharing the below on her new line:
What was working with Buffalo like? What details did you want to make sure were included in the design?
I ended up acting almost as a fit model after our first campaign together, when I started to share feedback that women who are athletes or have a fuller body type have trouble fitting into many of the denim styles today that are so skinny and restrictive without any give. For the Hope jean line, Buffalo listened to my experience with denim and designed jeans made of stretchy fabric that contours and fits curvier women like me, who like to move around and be comfortable 24/7.
