THE 2015 HEISMAN CEREMONY STYLE GAME
Alabama running back, Derrick Henry, Stanford running back, Christian McCaffrey and Clemson quarterback, Deshaun Watson, were selected as the 2015 Heisman Trophy finalists, with Henry nabbing the coveted college football award.
Though he didn’t take home the trophy, Watson took home top honors in the suit game. His vibrant red ensemble was meant to pay home to Gainesville High School’s Red Elephants. Watson told The Post and Courier:
“I wanted to be a little different,” Watson said. “But Gainesville, our colors are red, and that’s where it all started, with my coaches back there and people back home. I wanted to give a little reminder where I came from and throw on the red.”
To add another element of flash, Watson paired his suit with a black and white polka dot shirt and matching pocket square, and a black tie. He sported a series of gold accessories as well as a Tiger Paw pin, to honor his alma mater.

In contrast, Henry and McCaffrey chose more traditional styles, with subtle sartorial nods to their teams with ties in team hues.
