KEY FOOD TURNS ERIC DECKER & PRINCE AMUKAMARA INTO #THECLOSESTRIVALS
The New York Jets and New York Giants will face off at MetLife Stadium tomorrow, in a much anticipated cross town matchup. The rivalry has extended off-the-field for Jets wide receiver, Eric Decker and Giants cornerback, Prince Amukamara. This week marks the culmination of a season-long campaign for the footballers, dubbed #TheClosestRivals.
Proctor & Gamble and New York-based supermarket chain, Key Food, tapped Decker and Amukamara to appear in a series of videos, where the two put their trash talking skills to the test. Key Food, your neighborhood market since 1937, is known for its high-quality products and affordable prices. In the case of football fans, it’s a one stop shop for all gameday essentials.
#TheClosestRivals spots turn Key Food offerings and P&G brands, from Crest toothpaste and Dawn dish soap to Bounty paper towels and Tide detergent, into a source of humorous banter. The videos have tackled topics like dropping the ball, smelling fresh and Decker’s hair secrets, in a fun and quirky manner for fans. Before they face each other on the gridiron, Decker and Amukamara managed to throw a few last jabs in the latest edition of #TheClosestRivals. Check out the footage below:
