CARMELO ANTHONY SUITS UP WITH ZEGNA FOR GQ’S NOVEMBER ISSUE
Carmelo Anthony is among the NBA stars who has undergone a style evolution since joining the league, due in large part to the institution of the 2005 dress code. For a detailed look at his rise to NBA fashion stardom, read on here.
Anthony’s style is typically more subdued than many of his NBA counterparts, yet he remains a sartorial standout, keeping it fresh each season. In the November 2015 issue of GQ magazine, the New York Knicks forward talks about enlisting the help of Italian fashion house, Ermenegildo Zegna, for advice on his suit game.
“They’re the O.G.’s. What they’re about, I’m about.”
He also spoke to GQ about the influence of NBA players in the world of fashion, explaining:
“NBA players changed the game. You could never find designer shoes over a size 12, and now they can’t make enough. XXL shirt are still slim. That’s beacuse of us, too.”
