2014 NFL HONORS FASHION HIGHLIGHTS
Ahead of Super Bowl XLIX, the NFL rolled out the red carpet for the NFL Honors show. It provided an opportunity for the league’s fashion-conscious stars to shed their gridiron garb and show off their style and swagger. The large frames of NFL athletes didn’t hinder their fashion game, as players were styled in plaid patterns, colorful jackets, and classic tuxedos. A Glam Slam breaks down the NFL Honors fashion highlights:
Elevee Lifestyle outfitted several of the NFL Honors attendees, including one of the evening’s top winners, Odell Beckham Jr. The New York Giants wide receiver is quickly becoming one of the league’s newest fashion mavens. Earlier in the week, he hosted Elevee’s “Suits and Sneakers” runway show. Last night had Beckham Jr. dressed in a sleek patterned jacket designed by Elevee’s Boushra Alchabaoun, as he accepted his awards for “Offensive Rookie of the Year” and “Play of the Year.” Beckham Jr. spoke about his suit below:
J.J. Watt and Demaryius Thomas each opted for bold plaids. Watt, the “Defensive Player of the Year,” sported a double-breasted gray and blue jacket.

Thomas’ jacket game was also on-point, thanks to his dapper plaid design, from Elevee’s Alchabaoun.

Larry Fitzgerald is often touted for his off-field fashion sense. The “Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award” winner looked sharp and sophisticated in his Cardinal red jacket with black lapels, created by Elevee’s Chandra Ferrer. Fitzgerald continues to prove he is classy both on-the-field and off.
The “Coach of the Year,” Bruce Arians, was also dressed by Ferrer. He paid homage to the Arizona Cardinals, accenting his double-breasted gray suit with a red cap and shirt.
Colin Kaepernick is always striving to stand out sartorially, and last night was no exception. He walked the red carpet clad in a slim-fitting, blue velvet dinner jacket.
