NCAA STYLE SHOWDOWN: NIKE GEAR FOR OREGON VS. OHIO STATE
Nike has designed a new set of special-edition uniform styles for the Oregon Ducks and the Ohio State Buckeyes, as they vie to become the very first College Football Playoff National Champion. The Mach Speed uniforms each feature a fractal diamond Swoosh on the front of the jersey and pant.
The Oregon Ducks have the most extensive college football wardrobe, with an endless array of jersey, pant and helmet combinations each season. The College Football Playoff National Championship game will have the team dressed in a white/silver/gray colorway. White jerseys will feature tonal gray and silver accents, paired with wolf gray pants and a white helmet with silver wings. The jersey showcases the tonal silver “Fighting Ducks” logo on the sleeve and the pants feature the words “Fighting Ducks” along the legs.
In sharp color contrast, the Buckeyes will take the field in scarlet jersey with white and gray accents reminiscent of the 1968 championship game, combined with gray pants and the team’s traditional gray helmet.
