SAKS FIFTH AVENUE & JETS TEAM UP ON “FASHION BLITZ” SERIES WITH DEMARIO DAVIS
As part of the “Taste of the New York Jets” festivities, team members will participate in a fashion show featuring menswear styles from Saks Fifth Avenue. Ahead of his runway appearance, Demario Davis got some assistance with his sartorial game, thanks to a visit from Saks VP, Men’s Fashion Director, Eric Jennings. The Jets partnered with Saks Fifth Avenue on a menswear series called “Fashion Blitz.”
Jennings visited the Jets linebacker for a “Fashion Blitz” of his closet. He checked out Davis’ wardrobe options, the fit of his suits, clothing items that need to be replaced, and his vast collection of sneakers. Within the piece, Davis also spoke about his NFL style inspiration and his fashion evolution.
On his interest in fashion:
The first thing you realize is that it’s a business, once you get to the NFL. I’m not just on the field anymore, its about on the field and off the field.
On his fashion inspiration:
One of the guys that I look up to is D’Brickashaw Ferguson. He’s been in the league nine years now, I’m going into my third year and the first thing I noticed about him was every time we went on a road trip, he was dressed very well and he just let me know the abc’s of fashion.
