HUBLOT LAUNCHES KING POWER LOS ANGELES LAKERS TIMEPIECE
Hublot has designed special-edition timepieces for sports teams including the Miami Heat and the Dallas Cowboys. Now the Swiss watchmaker has launched a watch style for the Los Angeles Lakers, dubbed the King Power “Los Angeles Lakers.” Hublot became the Official Timekeeper of the Lakers in January 2013. Despite having created designs for Kobe Bryant, who serves as a brand ambassador, this marks the first signature watch for the team.
The accessory features details in the Laker’s purple and gold hues. The team described the timepiece:
The dial features 4 zones of 12 minutes in black, yellow and purple, while the Los Angeles Lakers logo is strategically placed at 3 o’clock and the Lakers signature is visible on the sapphire case-back. Limited to 50 pieces total, each piece will be delivered with two interchangeable straps – one real yellow Lakers jersey on black rubber with yellow and purple stitching and one gummy alligator sewed on black rubber with yellow and purple stitching.
The watch is priced at $27,900 and is limited to 50 pieces. For a closer look at the King Power “Los Angeles Lakers” visit here. Check it out below:
