NBA STYLE: NEW SEASON TIPS OFF WITH FASHION HIGHLIGHTS
The NBA season has officially kicked-off and this year promises to bring an endless array of memorable sartorial statements. Top players have already displayed eclectic style choices, with arena arrivals marked by designer picks and novel accessories. A Glam Slam takes an early look at this year’s NBA Style game:
LeBron James made his much-anticipated return to Cleveland and he dressed the part. A dark green Balenciaga coat was the highlight of his ensemble, which also featured a Thom Browne shirt, a black fedora, and oversized shades.

Russell Westbrook dominated the NBA fashion conversation throughout the off-season. In addition to editorial shoots and fashion week appearances, the Oklahoma City Thunder guard debuted a collaborative collection with Barneys NY, as well as a line of eyewear. His season-opening style did not disappoint with two looks that kept fans buzzing: a Silver Foil Windbreaker from Helmet Lang and patterned warm-up with orange kicks.
Carmelo Anthony’s style is the perfect mix of casual yet polished, as evident below. His NBA style debut was marked by a camel color block sweater and his signature headwear.
