STEELERS HOST “BLACK AND GOLD STYLE” FASHION SHOW
The Pittsburgh Steelers held their annual “Black and Gold Style” event to benefit the UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program and the Cancer Caring Center. The festivities included a runway show, with players and their families serving as fashion models. The winner of the evening’s “Swag Award” went to Ross Ventrone, with “Junior Swag Award” honors going to Brett Kiesel’s children.
The night celebrated 40 years of Steelers Style with a theme of “Black and Gold Style: Then and Now.” Steelers Kelvin Beachum and Cameron Heyward served as the honorary co-captains for Black and Gold Style 2014. Former NFL player, Rocky Bleier, also had the title of honorary co-captain. Bleier was one of the founders of the Steelers’ Fashion Show in the 1970’s.
