DOCKERS PARTNERS WITH JIM & SARAH HARBAUGH ON CAMPAIGN TO “STOP DAD PANTS”
For San Francisco 49’ers coach, Jim Harbaugh, khaki pants have served as wardrobe staple on the sidelines. His trousers received extra attention last season, when Harbaugh’s wife revealed that she was not a fan of the sartorial statement. Soon afterwards, the coach was spotted in Walmart, purchasing an $8 version of the pants. In response to the khaki craze, a range of apparel companies offered up their own options for Harbaugh.
Now Dockers has teamed up with the NFL coach “to rid the world of ill-fitting pants,” under the tag: #StopDadPants. Fans can join the crusade against Dad Pants by following Dockers on twitter and instagram, and uploading a photo “putting your best pants forward,” along with the hashtag #StopDadPants. Entrants will have a chance to win trip for two to San Francisco, tickets to one of Jim’s games and Dockers apparel. For additional information, visit dockers.com/stopdadpants.
In addition, Sarah Harbaugh took part in a humorous new Dockers spot. Within the fashion-focused PSA message, she explained:
“I’d like to talk to you about a a serious issue affecting countless men in our country. I’m talking of course, about Dad Pants.”
Dockers has also tapped coach Jon Gruden as part of the campaign. In the video below, he gives a locker room speech to rally a group of men against Dad Pants.
