TOMMY BAHAMA DEBUTS MLB SPRING TRAINING COLLECTION OF SHIRTS
With Spring Training underway, Tommy Bahama has released its latest MLB-themed collection of apparel. This marks the fifth year of the partnership between the company and Major League Baseball Properties. As part of the latest collaboration, Tommy Bahama has designed 2014 MLB Spring Training shirts for both the Cactus League and the Grapefruit League. The line consists of four featured styles, including two classic camp shirts and two cotton, long-sleeve tees.
The colorful camp shirts are decorated with embroidered artwork on the back. The shirts feature a relaxed baseball player in aloha print board shorts and flip flops, with a handful of bats over his shoulder. The sky blue Cactus League shirt has the player surrounded by Saguaro cactus, with the Arizona rock formations incorporated into the Tommy Bahama logo. The terracotta Grapefruit League shirt places the player among palm trees, with grapefruits and baseballs at his feet. The long-sleeve tees feature a front pocket, and are embellished with special graphics on the back as well.
In addition to the updated apparel, fans have opportunity to meet Willie Mays, during Spring Training at the Tommy Bahama Presents an Evening with Willie Mays. The even will be held next Thursday, March 6, from 5:30-8:30pm at the Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Bar & Store at Kierland Commons in Scottsdale. The small, intimate event allows the chance for ticket holders to meet Mays, have their photo taken, receive an autographed Rawlings baseball, and listen to a lively Q&A with Willie. Only 75 tickets are available ($395 for you and a guest) and can be purchased by calling 480-505-3668.
