TARGET LAUNCHES A LINE INSPIRED BY SPORTS ILLUSTRATED SWIMSUIT EDITION
Swimsuit designers often experience a surge in suit sales, after securing a coveted spot within the pages of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. Kate Upton’s 2012 cover suit sold out in nearly 20 minutes, as readers are often seeking styles similar to those worn by the Sports Illustrated models. The magazine’s 50th Anniversary issue is available on newsstands today, and with it comes a set of affordable suits. To celebrate the anniversary, Target has debuted an exclusive line inspired by the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, and dubbed the “Golden Anniversary Collection.”
The limited-edition, 10-piece line includes both bikini and one-piece styles. The suits boast a black, white and gold color scheme, decorated with details like lace, studs, fringe, and sequins. Prices range from $14.99 to $29.99.
The “Golden Anniversary Collection” is available at U.S. Target stores and online here. Below is a preview of the featured styles:
