On National Signing Day, high school football players across the country revealed their much-anticipated college commitments. Before they suit up in their new gridiron gear next season, these young athletes showcased their off-field style and swagger. Bow ties reigned supreme among the new recruits. The neckwear was displayed in various sizes and patterned designs, and paired with a range of suspenders, vests and jackets. Baseball caps weren’t the only indication of where the future college football stars were headed. Many chose to represent their new school colors through their fashion choices. A Glam Slam highlights the Signing Day styles of the 2014 recruiting class. Check it out:

Malachi Dupre (WR, John Curtis Christian High School) committed to LSU while donning the day’s most popular accessory. His overall look was reminiscent of NBA player post-game styles. A black and white polka-dot bow tie was paired with a sharp black jacket and thick-rimmed glasses.
