CANADIENS P.K. SUBBAN TALKS FASHION IN “NHL LIFE” WEB SERIES FROM L’OREAL PARIS MEN EXPERT
Brandon Prust was recently named the Montreal Canadiens “Style Star,” but his teammate, P.K. Subban, has impressive sartorial skills of his own. In episode one of “NHL Life,” a new web series from L’Oreal Paris Men Expert, the Habs defenseman admits that fashion may be his greatest interest outside the rink. Subban is the first to be featured in the exclusive video series, which is meant to offer fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the lives of various on-ice and front-office NHL personalities.
“Nobody remembers those who are average. Some people are happy with life in the middle, but that’s just not me. I want to be the best. I want to help my team be the best.” – P.K. Subban
Within the piece, Subban visits Montreal-based luxury bespoke tailor, Sartorialto, where he’s fitted in a range of menswear pieces. He noted that hockey players’ weight fluctuates throughout the season, so multiple visits for blazers, shirts and especially pants, are necessary to ensure a good fit.
“It’s fun. I enjoy it. I enjoy going there and picking out different colors and fabrics and stuff like that. I take pride in how I look when I go to work.”
Within the video, Subban also heads to the barber shop to handle his grooming needs and interacts with fans. Check out the “NHL Life” footage below and for upcoming features, visit nhllife.nhl.com.
