DEZ BRYANT’S FLAUNT MAGAZINE FASHION SHOOT
Dez Bryant’s passion for the game has been evident both on-field and on the sidelines in the last few weeks. The Dallas Cowboys receiver recently opened up to Flaunt magazine, for an interview that tackles this topic among others. Within the piece, he discusses subjects ranging from his upbringing to his harsh critics.
On his NFL Draft day:
“The whole draft process, it was crazy for me. I damn near visited every team.”
On preparing for college:
“Truth be told, I didn’t know [much]. After my junior year, a lot of schools were interested, any school you can think of…and I started to get nervous. I never thought about me, Dez, going to a major university.”
On dealing with his critics in the Dallas media:
“This is how I look at it: It all depends on where you come from, when you come out of the draft, if the politics are good or bad. If they’re bad, you’re going to get the worst end of everything, and if they’re good, you’re going to get the best of everything. When it’s bad you have to stay focused, stay grinding, and work your way up out of it.”
The 24 year-old also shed his Cowboys gear for a corresponding fashion feature. The spread was shot by Davis Factor, the grandson of cosmetics pioneer, Max Factor. Bryant was styled by Leila Baboi, wearing a range of Fall menswear pieces from Giorgio Armani, Diesel and Dolce and Gabbana. To read the full piece and for additional photos, visit here.
