IMAN SHUMPERT AND SPRAYGROUND DESIGN LIMITED-EDITION BACKPACK
Iman Shumpert is the latest NBA player to get into the design game. Backpacks have made their way to the NBA post-game podium and Shumpert is among the hoops stars who have sported a version of the bag. The New York Knicks forward teamed up with premier backpack and accessories company, Sprayground, to created a limited-edition “21 Shump Street” backpack in the brand’s first athletic collaboration.
The company’s unique range of products aim to “focus on design, creativity, and functionality that’s not afraid to break down barriers in the fashion world and have a chill time doing it.” Shumpert’s personal sense of style aligns well with the brand. The special Sprayground backpack features a gray base, with Shumpert’s jersey number “21” in black, and wings that adorn each side of the bag. In keeping with the theme, only 21 of the backpacks were made, available through the brand’s online store, sprayground.com.
“It’s cool to link up and join forces with a unique brand like Sprayground,” says Shumpert. “After working closely with my brother Ahrii, my sister Bianca and David a.k.a. ‘DBD’ of Sprayground, we came up with a dope custom project.”
