ALYSSA MILANO’S TOUCH APPAREL LINE LAUNCHES NASCAR COLLECTION
Alyssa Milano first launched her Touch line in 2007, after noticing the lack of team-themed apparel options to suit the needs of female fans. The actress has had success with her stylish sports fashion range, which includes shirts, tanks, sweaters, jackets, pant, hats and accessories for NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and NCAA teams. Now she has expanded the Touch offerings to include a NASCAR-themed collection.
“I am very excited to be able to bring Touch apparel to female NASCAR fans,” said Alyssa Milano. “I have received so many requests over the past few years to expand distribution of the Touch brand into NASCAR, so I’m really proud to have NASCAR under the Touch brand umbrella.”
The new line features women’s tops and tees personalized to ten NASCAR drivers, including: Dale Earnhardt Jr., Carl Edwards, Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch, Jeff Gordon, Kasey Kahne, Matt Kenseth, Danica Patrick, Brad Keselowski and Tony Stewart. The fashions are decorated with graphics such as racers’ numbers and replica signatures.
According to SportingNews.com:
Gear of 25 or 30 drivers could eventually become available and by next spring, the products will be available in stores, NASCAR Vice President of Licensing Blake Davidson said.
“I guess we’re as guilty as some of the other sports in the past of not having product that was really built for women—they weren’t really not the true female silhouettes and not nearly as fashion forward,” Davidson said.
NASCAR has begun to sell the items on its website. Below is a preview and to check out the full collection, visit here.
