VICTORIA’S SECRET PINK STORE TOUCHES DOWN AT COWBOYS STADIUM
Victoria’s Secret PINK first forayed into the world of football in 2010, when the company debuted a collection of NFL-branded merchandise for select squads. The line of team-themed gear has since expanded to include clothing and accessories for all 32 teams. Each season, the company releases a new range of jerseys, tanks, boyfriend tees, cropped tees, hoodies, sweats, underwear and accessories. The apparel merges Victoria’s Secret PINK’s feminine silhouettes and brand iconography with official NFL team colors and logos.
Taking the partnership one step further, Victoria’s Secret PINK has now touched down at Cowboys Stadium. Prior to last night’s game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Bears, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held to officially open the in-stadium Victoria’s Secret PINK shop. Despite carrying MLB and NCAA collections as well, this marks the brand’s first store inside a professional sports venue. Victoria’s Secret models Elsa Hosk and Jessica Hart joined Cowboys executives to help unveil the apparel shop, which features a limited-edition collection of Cowboys-themed PINK gear.
Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones, supported the opening of the new shop. According to Forbes, Jones said on 105.3 The Fan [KRLD-FM]:
“Well, we’ve got some beautiful places out at that stadium, some gorgeous surroundings, and nothing would be nicer than to have the showing of pretty clothes.”
