TOM BRADY FRONTS VMAN MAGAZINE’S FALL ISSUE

As fans gear up for the new NFL season, men’s magazines are highlighting some the league’s stars. NFL QBs Tim Tebow and Cam Newton scored individual covers for GQ magazine’s September issue. Another famous NFL face is now set to hit newsstands and it’s none other than veteran cover boy, Tom Brady. The New England Patriots QB fronts VMAN magazine’s Fall issue, due out August 23rd.

With the tagline, “America’s Alpha-Dog,” the publication features a dapperly-dressed Brady posing with a ferocious growl to match that of his canine co-star. Inside the magazine, Brady was interviewed by fashion designer, Tom Ford. He is often styled in Ford’s suits off-the-field, but fashion was not at the forefront of their chat. Instead the two spoke about fatherhood, Brady’s wife, Gisele Bundchen, and life after football. Below is an excerpt:

On his plans after football: “I have to do something [after football]…I don’t know. It’s hard to think about where my interests will take me. But [an actor] is not something that I’ve ever aspired to be. The only thing I ever wanted to be was a professional football player. It’s hard because I want to have four kids and I want to be a really good dad, too.

The accompanying fashion spread was shot by Mario Testino and styled by Carine Roitfeld. Dressed in a Tom Ford tux, Brady accessorized with a dog collar and posed again with his canine companion.
