VENUS WILLIAMS SUFFERS WARDROBE MISHAP IN MILAN
Venus Williams is making headlines yet again with regards to her on-court attire. She’s produced some elegant looks over the years, though it’s the style disasters that have fans talking more about her fashion than her forehand. Her 2010 black and red lace French Open outfit, her Alison in Wonderland-inspired Australian Open number and her infamous “illusion” dress are among the sartorial selections that have raised eyebrows among tennis spectators. But this time around she turned heads for a different reason.
The tennis star came very close to a Janet Jackson Super Bowl XXXVIII moment of her own, with a wardrobe malfunction in Milan this weekend. During her exhibition match against Flavia Pennetta, the strap on Venus’ self-designed EleVen dress snapped, almost exposing much more than intended.
Luckily the fashion maven is always prepared with back-up attire. And she returned to the court in a brand new ensemble that was just as buzzworthy. The super short black tank dress featured mesh panels, lots of bling and the EleVen logo. Check it out:
