ADIDAS GOLF TO LAUNCH FASHION PERFORMANCE APPAREL
The golf “uniform” has certainly changed over the years. To keep up with the unique sartorial selections that players have been sporting on the course, adidas Golf is launching a new line of apparel called Fashion Performance, which merges technology with style.
According to Golf.com, the youthful, hip collection pulls inspiration from runway trends such as bold hues and color-blocked designs, while keeping adidas’ signature performance properties in tact. The clothing will feature “street influences” and include a retro-style adidas logo. Jason Day, 23-year old Aussie golfer and adidas athlete, will serve as the face of the Fashion Performance line. The collection will be available for men and women in early 2012.
In addition to the apparel, the brand will introduce the adiSTREET line of footwear, spikeless shoes with a similar vibrant color palette. Check them out:
