JOBA CHAMBERLAIN TALKS SURGERY, FASHION & MASTERCARD PRICELESS NY
Consumers are certainly familiar with MasterCard’s “Priceless” ad campaign which first debuted in 1997. As part of the latest leg of the campaign, the brand is introducing the “Priceless Cities” program which offers one-of-a-kind experiences to cardholders. Beginning in New York on July 11th, these “priceless experiences” include an overnight adventure at the Bronx Zoo, watching a Yankee game with a Yankee legend and a variety of additional sports, shopping, travel and entertainment opportunities. The program will roll out to additional cities to be revealed at a later date and will also feature a large social media presence on sites such as facebook and twitter. For more information, visit www.mastercard.com/pricelessnewyork.
To inaugurate the Priceless Cities program and demonstrate the unique opportunities available to consumers, MasterCard offered A Glam Slam a Priceless New York experience of our own. The special night included catching a Yankee game in the amazing MasterCard Batter’s Eye centerfield seats, delicious cuisine from award-winning Chef and Food Network personality, Aaron Sanchez and the chance to hang out with Yankee pitcher, Joba Chamberlain. For a taste of this experience, consumers can head to Times Square on July 14th for an interactive event with both Joba and Aaron.
A Glam Slam spoke with Joba about the MasterCard program, his Tommy John surgery recovery process and of course, his sense of fashion. Can you guess which NY Yankee bought him his very first suit? Check it out:
