UNDER ARMOUR HONORS U.S. ARMED FORCES
Underarmour, a company best known for it’s form-fitting performance apparel, has partnered with the Wounded Warrior Project, a non-profit organization providing programs and support for injured service men and their families. The two have also teamed up with the University of South Carolina and the University of Maryland football teams, to honor and recognize the services of those in the Armed Forces.
On Saturday, November 14th, the Gamecocks and Terps will wear specially designed black camoflague uniforms, featuring the Wounded Warrior Project logo, in their games against the Florida Gators and Virginia Tech Hokies respectively. The uniforms will also feature an amazing tribute, as the words Duty, Honor, Courage, Commitment, Integrity, Country, and Service will replace the players’ last names on the back of each jersey.
Special fan gear will also be available at college bookstores, local military bases and at www.underarmour.com with a portion of the proceeds being donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Don’t forget to tune in to both games this weekend to check out the uniforms. And pick-up some fan gear to help support the cause.
